The amazing and beautiful Mary "Maria" Jane Greene was blessed with life on March 24, 1955 in Emporia, Virginia. Her passing transpired on March 13, 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Mary was diagnosed in 2017 with breast cancer and survived it until she chose to go home to God's kingdom. Her strength will never be forgotten.

During her life Mary was a wife once, a sister, an auntie, a mother of two daughters, a student, graduate, a nurse and leader in that field, a bodybuilder, a model, fashionista, traveler, a free spirit and friend to many. She was preceded in life by her Mamie Moore (mother), Luke Carpenter Sr. (brother), Danny Moore (brother), Lilian Lewis (sister) and Ruth Pope (sister). She is survived by her two daughters Ilsa Lenora Greene and Ramona Nikia Greene (Michael Spriggs Jr.). She is also survived by her brother Mike Carpenter and her grandchildren Anthony Michael Lora, Brehon Persaud Wiggins, Kaylee Roxanne Spriggs along with her great grandchild Olivia Grace Farrington-Lora. Mary also shared a very special bond with her significant other of ten years Trey Wilson, a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She will forever be remembered and missed by all.
